About Us

It was not only incredibly difficult to discover interesting and trusted brands with high-quality ingredients, but the cost of trying different products quickly added up - so we did something about it.

We’re dedicated to helping you find the best products that work for you. Because guess what? There is no CBD product that is perfect for everyone – and that’s okay! Every person’s endocannabinoid system is different. When initially using cannabis products, it often includes a trial and error period as you see how you feel with different edibles, tinctures, oils, etc. Your specific body chemistry may react uniquely to a product based on the respective cannabinoids in each formula. Think of it like using perfume: the scent you wear every day may smell slightly different on someone else because of different skin types.

so how did the Remedy begin?

The Remedy was born because our founder, Isabelle, was desperately looking for all natural remedies for anxiety. After graduating from college, she experienced what we now fondly refer to as “the post-grad freakout”1, which contributed to frequent panic attacks and extremely high levels of anxiety. From magnesium drinks, valerian pills, exercise, yoga, meditation, eliminating caffeine, a hasty reintroduction to caffeine (she’s only human), she had practically exhausted the list of common treatments for anxiety. When she was introduced to CBD, the flip switched, and she began using it every day. The issue? It was not only incredibly difficult to discover interesting and trusted brands with high-quality ingredients, but the cost of trying different products quickly added up. “I wasn’t interested in spending upwards of $100, in some cases, on a bottle of CBD that I could barely choke down…or worse, didn’t really work for me.” So she set out to make what she couldn’t find, ultimately creating the Chillax Box.

1It is estimated that approximately 100% of recent graduates will have a series of moments that will prompt them to realize “I have no idea what I’m doing.”
