So how did the Remedy begin?
The Remedy was born because our founder, Isabelle, was desperately looking for all natural remedies for anxiety. After graduating from college, she experienced what we now fondly refer to as “the post-grad freakout”1, which caused her to have frequent panic attacks and extremely high levels of anxiety. From magnesium drinks, valerian pills, exercise, yoga, meditation, eliminating caffeine, a hasty reintroduction to caffeine (she’s only human), she had practically exhausted the list of common treatments for anxiety. When she was introduced to CBD, the flip switched, and she began using it every day. The issue? It was not only incredibly difficult to discover interesting and trusted brands with high-quality ingredients, but the products that she wanted to try out were expensive. “I wasn’t interested in spending upwards of $100, in some cases, on a bottle of full spectrum oil that I could barely choke down…or worse, didn’t really work for me.” So she set out to make what she couldn’t find, ultimately creating the Chillax Box.
